Connect your Google Business Profile
How to let GrowKit post to your Google Business Profile, using the link we email you.
Before you start
- We email you a connect link. It opens a page called Connect your accounts, made for your business.
- The link works for 7 days. You can use it more than once in that time.
- Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages your business on Google. If you are not sure which account that is, ask us first.
Your connect link is personal to your business. Do not forward it or post it anywhere.
Connect Google
Open the link from our email
You see Connect your accounts, with a Google Business Profile tile and a Connect button.
Press Connect
Google opens and asks you to sign in. Use the Google account that manages your business.
Allow Social Media Linker
Google asks you to allow an app called Social Media Linker. This is expected: it is the service GrowKit uses to post for you.
Tick the business listings box
On Google's screen, tick the box that lets GrowKit manage your business listings. If you skip this box, we cannot post for you.
Come back to the page
You return to your connect page. It says Google is connected. Thank you. and shows Connected as with your Google account name.
Confirm your locations
The page may say Finding your businesses on Google. This can take a few minutes. Press Refresh after a few minutes.
When your locations appear, tick the ones that should post through this Google account, then press Confirm. Each location shows our address for it, so you can check it is the right one.
You are done when each of your locations shows Posting through your Google.
